On behalf of the Florence Elementary PTO, we presented Ms. Martha with flowers to show our love, support, and encouragement as she continues her battle with breast cancer. 🩷🎀

We also want to honor and recognize all those who have battled breast cancer, those who are courageously fighting today, those who have won their fight, and those we have sadly lost. We stand together in support of every survivor, every fighter, and every family who has been touched by this disease. No one should have to face this journey alone.

A little late to post but we got to spoil our teachers during parent teacher conferences! We hope all the teachers enjoyed the dinner provided by the Florence Elementary PTO on Thursday evening. ❤️

What a fun way to end the 1st Quarter. The PTO provided and ran the popcorn stand at the Carnival Paw Party. The kids had a blast and we really appreciated how respectuful all the students were. Thank you to all staff members and volunteers who made this paw party a success. The PTO wishes all staff, students and their families a safe and fun fall break. GO GOPHERS!!!!!

Calling all businesses and community members, we would like to invite you to come participate in our Trunk or Treat event!

Please email us or message us to be added to the list of participants, we'd love to fill the parking lot with community members and giving the kids a great Halloween Eve morning!

Florence Elementary Book Fair is happening next week, September 21st - 24th and we'd love to get some volunteers to help!

Volunteers would help students find books, straighten up the book fair after classes visit, and use the cash register.

We have a google spreadsheet with the dates and times available, please sign up and help if you can!

Upcoming PTO Meeting!!!

Join us on September 2nd at 6pm at the Florence K-6 School, Home of the Gophers cafeteria to find out about the fundraisers we have planned, come up with ideas to enhance the school year for the students, and make any suggestions you might have!

We invite all teachers and parents to attend; and please note that while we will have a sign up sheet, there is no pressure to sign up! We will have a sheet for parents who wish to only donate for occasions such as teacher appreciation week, parents who want to volunteer, and those who wish to attend meetings and be more involved!
