Join The Literacy Center (Flagstaff) for a great block party and fundraiser!

"Support literacy and citizenship in our community. The world could use a little more good right now—and what better way than good food, good music, and good community?
BtP is hosting its annual Block Party in support of The Literacy Center on Friday, 8/21, from 6–9 p.m. Join us at 606 N. Beaver Street for food from Pizzicletta, drinks from Mother Road (including NA options), and live local music from the one and only Groove Tractor.
And there’s more! Bid on silent auction items from some of your favorite Flagstaff businesses—all while supporting a great cause.
All proceeds support The Literacy Center’s adult literacy and citizenship programs. Come have some fun, connect with our community, and help make a little more good happen right here in Flagstaff."

"Northern Arizona Pioneers' Historical Society (NAPHS) has partnered with Townsite CLT's Treasure Flagstaff to hold a forum about historic preservation for City Council candidates. The first part (most of the time) will be spent on understanding what historic preservation is, how it is done, and why it contributes so much to a community -- socially and economically. The second part is for City Council candidates to answer questions or make a statement."
