Fishers Police Department Seizes More than 200 Pounds of Ma*****na and THC Products Following Narcotics Investigation

In March 2026, a detective with the Fishers Police Department assigned to the Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force initiated a narcotics investigation after observing a Snapchat profile advertising the sale of ma*****na and THC products.

During the investigation, the detective identified suspects Ian Heath and Brenden Grubb, along with a vehicle believed to be involved in the distribution of narcotics. The detective shared that information with the Fishers Police Department’s Crime Reduction Unit (CRU).
Shortly thereafter, CRU detectives located the suspect vehicle traveling on I-69. Detectives observed the vehicle commit multiple traffic infractions and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, a Fishers Police Department K9 officer conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle, and the K9 positively alerted to the presence of narcotics.

Heath and Grubb were detained without incident while detectives conducted a search of the vehicle. During the search, detectives located approximately 211 pounds of ma*****na, 5 pounds of pre-rolled ma*****na products, 3,696 THC cartridges, and a firearm.

Both Heath and Grubb were preliminarily charged with Dealing in Ma*****na: with amount of at least 10 pounds.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

Please direct further questions to the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office.

A huge thank you to Westfield Middle School for inviting us to be part of their Professional Development Day this past Monday! Teachers and staff were invited to peruse a makeshift teenage bedroom to discover common to***co, drug, and alcohol item hiding places; examine new products; and view paraphernalia that are disguised as everyday household goods.

Our annual visit to Westfield Middle School for "To***co Stations"! On To***co Station day, WMS 7th graders spend their Wellness Class period cycling through five to***co-related stations...1) A guest speaker addressing to***co and ni****ne's affects on mental health, 2) Big To***co's market techniques, 3) The monetary cost of to***co/ni****ne use, 4) The physical affects of smoking and va**ng and what's in a cigarette/v**e, and 5) A healthy lung v. a diseased lung. This year's guest speaker was VOICE Core Leader Taylor from Guerin Catholic High School. Taylor spoke of her reasons for living to***co- and ni****ne-free, shared some alarming statistics, talked about how smoking and va**ng affects mental health, and suggested healthy alternatives to to***co and ni****ne use. Our partnership with the Westfield Middle School 7th Grade Wellness Team is one of our longest-running and most treasured educational partnerships, and we hope to continue it indefinitely! If you're connected to a middle school or junior high in Hamilton County and would like to bring a To***co Stations event to your school, please reach-out. Prevention is the key!

Year Three at the Boys' and Girls' Club of Noblesville's Basketball Spectacular, and we were thrilled to be included once again! The walls of the club are full of reminders not to smoke or v**e, and we did our best to talk to as many athletes and their parents as possible about the physical and mental health effects of smoking and va**ng. Remember sports and to***co and ni****ne use don't mix!
