This past weekend, we met to assemble Quit Kits for local Hamilton County middle and high schools. These kits can be given to students who are caught using to***co and/or ni****ne, and they contain information about free Quit Now services, a journal, and lots of items that can be used as distractions when cravings arise. If you work at a middle or high school in Hamilton County, please contact us if you would like to have some kits available at your school. Our VOICE members are passionate about staying to***co- and ni****ne-free, and they care about the health and safety of their classmates and friends.

A huge thank you to Hancock County for hosting us at their 2026 Summer Training last week! This is the fourth summer we've participated in an event with our neighbors to the southeast, and we couldn't be more grateful for their friendship and partnership. Our Hamilton County VOICE members were treated to training sessions about state and Federal policy, to***co facts, having important conversations, team-building and leadership, and annual planning. After training concluded, we enjoyed the movie Minions & Monsters at a local theater. Minions & Monsters is hysterical, BTW. Our Hamilton County crew gave the entire day an enthusiastic 👍🏻!

Sunday Morning To***co and Trash Clean-Up at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel. It never ceases to amaze us how many cigarette butts, ni****ne pouches, and v**e cartridges are typically found on hospital grounds! Many thanks to IU Health Community Outreach Consultant and To***co-Free Hamilton County Alliance member Caitlin Vendely-Haag for helping organize this important event.

Listen to our whales! ❤️🚭

A man lit a cigarette beside a beluga whale pool in Dalian, China.

Seconds later, the whale appeared to handle the problem itself.

In a viral clip from Dalian Sunasia Ocean World, a man is seen standing near the beluga exhibit with a cigarette.

A staff member begins moving toward him, but before anyone reaches him, the beluga surfaces and sends a sharp burst of water in his direction.

People online immediately loved the timing, joking that the beluga had become the aquarium’s most dedicated no-smoking officer.

Big To***co never really left F1 — they just got sneakier.

After cigarette ads were banned in 1998, to***co companies swapped logos for barcodes and color schemes to stay on cars without technically breaking the rules. Now they’re back again — this time with v**e and ni****ne pouch ads that exploit a loophole in F1’s own 2006 policy. Youth ni****ne pouch use nearly quadrupled between 2022 and 2025.

McLaren and Ferrari have to***co-related sponsors, ni****ne pouch brands Zyn and Velo.

Fishers Police Department Seizes More than 200 Pounds of Ma*****na and THC Products Following Narcotics Investigation

In March 2026, a detective with the Fishers Police Department assigned to the Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force initiated a narcotics investigation after observing a Snapchat profile advertising the sale of ma*****na and THC products.

During the investigation, the detective identified suspects Ian Heath and Brenden Grubb, along with a vehicle believed to be involved in the distribution of narcotics. The detective shared that information with the Fishers Police Department’s Crime Reduction Unit (CRU).
Shortly thereafter, CRU detectives located the suspect vehicle traveling on I-69. Detectives observed the vehicle commit multiple traffic infractions and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, a Fishers Police Department K9 officer conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle, and the K9 positively alerted to the presence of narcotics.

Heath and Grubb were detained without incident while detectives conducted a search of the vehicle. During the search, detectives located approximately 211 pounds of ma*****na, 5 pounds of pre-rolled ma*****na products, 3,696 THC cartridges, and a firearm.

Both Heath and Grubb were preliminarily charged with Dealing in Ma*****na: with amount of at least 10 pounds.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

Please direct further questions to the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office.
