The Wesleyan Church

October 7–9, leaders from across the US and Canada gathered at TWC Headquarters for the first-ever Wesleyan Network Alliance meeting. Church planting network leaders, multiplication directors and district leaders came together across generations and ministry contexts, building relationships and renewing a shared commitment to advance God’s kingdom. These leaders leaned into exploring how discipleship and evangelism multiply kingdom movement when we answer God’s call together.

Special thanks to Wesleyan Investment Foundation for sponsoring this event.

Congratulations on a new chapter, Dr. Kevin Osborn, and the entire OKWU community! We’re grateful for the legacy you carry and the future you’re called to shape.

We celebrate the inauguration of Dr. Kevin Osborn as OKWU’s seventh president and look forward to all God will do through his leadership. As a valued part of The Wesleyan Church family, OKWU continues its vital mission of transforming lives through Christ-centered education and preparing servant leaders to live out their God-given purpose.

Pastor Appreciation Month is more than giving gifts. It’s about intentionally supporting pastors to help life be sustainable for them and their families. For resources on how to support your pastor and family, visit http://twc.onl/aB6M50ZVy9o.

Please join our Wesleyan family in praying for Panama following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake. We thank God that many Wesleyan pastors and their families are safe, and pray for those still unreachable, for protection and provision. Pray for our churches as they bring Christ’s hope to their communities.

🇵🇦 A 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Panama this afternoon, followed by a series of aftershocks.

🙏 Reports received from Pastor Jose McKella in Panama indicate that Wesleyan pastors and their families are safe. We’re thanking God for His protection. We are still waiting to hear from two pastors who serve in the area most affected by the earthquake, as they don’t currently have phone service.

So far, no deaths have been reported in the country, but several buildings have been damaged.

💙 As our brothers and sisters in Panama respond to the needs around them, we invite the global Wesleyan family to join in prayer:

• Pray that Panama would experience peace amid stress and fear

• Pray for the restoration of electricity and water in the country, as both were shut off in the affected areas

• Pray for protection, provision and encouragement for pastors, families and churches in the affected area

• Pray for our Wesleyan brothers and sisters as they discern how to support and encourage their communities

This October, you’re invited you to see your pastor in a fresh way during Pastor Appreciation Month. We want to see our pastors and their families personally, instead of only how they serve the church. Check out http://twc.onl/GE7a50ZVy8L for resources to help your pastor feel seen this October.

We pray for God to send someone, while quietly ignoring the possibility that we may be the answer we’re asking him to provide.

The Wesleyan Church mourns with The Wesleyan Church of Haiti following the passing of Rev. Denor Rosemond, the first National Superintendent of The Wesleyan Church of Haiti.

Rev. Rosemond passed away Friday, October 2, following a brief illness. We give thanks for his life, his service to Christ, and his faithful leadership among the Wesleyan family.

We grieve with his family, the Haitian church, and all who knew and served alongside him. We do so with hope in Jesus, who is the resurrection and the life.
