Perspectives, the AFA magazine, is seeking submissions for an upcoming issue exploring the growing role of AI in fraternity/sorority life. Whether you use it daily or don’t want to touch it with a 50 foot pole, it’s here and affecting the students and work we do every day.

For this issue, we invite contributors to reflect on the opportunities, challenges, questions, and tensions AI presents within our field. Topics may include, but aren’t limited to: how you’re using AI in your daily work; appropriate and inappropriate student uses of AI in fraternity/sorority contexts; how AI may shape the future of student engagement, leadership development, and fraternity/sorority life; the continued value of human engagement and development of education/programming in the growing world of AI; and practical strategies, cautionary tales, or emerging innovations in using AI in FSL work

We welcome submissions in a variety of formats, including traditional articles, video submissions, or other creative mediums. Full submission guidelines and editor contacts may be viewed at https://afa1976.org/about-perspectives/. Submissions are due via email by June 19, 2026.
