The Summer Pick games are scheduled for 7/15, 7/29, 8/12. We need Volunteers. Duties required are as follows

Pre\post game field maintenance (prep fields, drag if needed, put out bases, line foul lines\batter's box, clean up fields afterward)
Running individual Minors\Majors games (organize each group into teams. assist in lineups, and position of players. establish rules for games, and adhere to this)
Umpire the games.

Volunteers can be parents, coaches, and high school kids over 15 that do not wish to participate in the 13 and up games. High school kids are eligible for Service hours. up to 4 per game.

The dads hauling gear, throwing batting practice, coaching from the dugout, keeping score, working the grill, dragging the field, and cheering from the stands.

The dads who celebrate the big hits, encourage after the tough losses, and somehow always know exactly what to say on the ride home.

After an incredible year for our softball program, we're excited to announce the return of Lady Lions Travel Softball with a 10U team for the 2026-27 season!

This past season, our 10U rec teams accomplished something special:

⚾⭐ Celebrating Our Minors All-Stars! ⭐⚾

This weekend, some of the best and brightest from our Minors Division took the field for the Minors All-Star Game, representing the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship they displayed all season long.

Being selected as an All-Star isn't just about talent—it's a recognition of the effort these players put in every practice, every game, and every inning throughout the season.

From Opening Day through the final out, these players continued to improve, support their teammates, and grow their love for the game. The All-Star Game was a well-deserved opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments and share the field with other outstanding players from across the league.

⚾🏆 SENIORS CHAMPIONS! 🏆⚾

After a long, hard-fought battle under the summer sun, the Nationals are your 2026 Seniors Division Champions!

In a championship showdown against a talented Sykesville Orioles team, the Nationals dug deep and came away with a 13-9 victory in an exciting 7-inning battle that showcased everything great about youth baseball.

These two teams pushed each other all season long. The Nationals finished with an outstanding 11-2-4 record, with one of those losses and one of those ties coming against the Orioles—making the championship matchup a fitting conclusion to a competitive season.

But this season was about more than wins and losses.

It was about teammates becoming friends.
It was about players growing in confidence and skill.
It was about showing up, competing hard, and representing their community with pride.

To the players, coaches, and families: congratulations on an incredible season and a well-earned championship!

⚾🥎🔥 WHAT A WEEKEND FOR FINKSBURG! 🔥🥎⚾

From baseball diamonds to softball fields, Finksburg teams were competing, battling, and bringing home hardware all weekend long!

🏆 9U Baseball – Armed Forces Slugfest Bronze Bracket Champions
⚾ 11U Baseball – Reached the Semi-Finals
🏆 13U Red Baseball – Legion of Merit Bracket Champions

And on the softball side...

🥇 10U Red Lady Lions – Rec Rumble Champions
🥈 10U Black Lady Lions – Rec Rumble Runner-Up

That's right—out of a field of 15 teams, the Rec Rumble Championship Game featured two Lady Lions teams battling for the title in an unforgettable all-Finksburg final.

What makes us proud isn't just the wins and championships. It's the way our players compete, support one another, and represent our community.

This weekend was a reminder of what can happen when dedicated players, coaches, volunteers, and families come together around a shared love of baseball and softball.

Finksburg 13U Black notched another tournament win this past weekend at the Armed Forces Slugfest. This team battled through pool play on Saturday, going 1-1 to earn the number 2 seed in the “Legion of Merit” bracket on Sunday. We faced two tough teams in bracket play, beating Flood City 14-7 in the semifinals and Elkridge 4-1 in the championship game. Every player contributed throughout the weekend and it was a true team win. We faced adversity by getting down early in two of the games, but their grittiness and belief in each other helped them persevere and secure the wins. This is their third tournament win of the year.
