🌟💲685 LEFT TO FUNDRAISE💲🌟
*Yesterday's Post*
$5,500 total!
We have $2,304 left to fundraise!
I am attaching the original post from yesterday for all the reasons why we need your help so we can continue our mission!
*OG POST*
This isn’t our typical fundraising post, but we’ve come to the conclusion that our rescue is in need of something pretty important: a reliable vehicle dedicated to transporting animals.
Sid does nearly all of our transporting—to vet appointments, spay/neuter surgeries, emergency visits, foster homes, adoption events, supply pickups, and everything in between. Until now, she has always used her personal vehicle.
And those miles add up fast.
Between the mileage, gas, maintenance, and everyday wear and tear, rescue transportation takes a serious toll on a personal vehicle. But the bigger issue is that her current car simply isn’t designed for what we ask it to do.
People are always asking, “How do you fit all those animals in your car?”
The answer? Sometimes, barely. 😅
Her car isn’t large enough to safely fit a dog kennel—and that has become a must. Animals should be properly secured during transport, especially when Lil is often riding along with her. A frightened, injured, newly rescued, or unfamiliar dog loose inside a vehicle isn’t safe for the animal, the driver, or a child passenger.
When you’re running a rescue, transportation isn’t really optional. If we can’t safely get an animal where they need to go, we can’t help them.
And we have an opportunity to make that happen.
Here’s the hard part: we need to raise $2,500 by Saturday to make it possible. A trusted/reliable friend/mechanic found a reliable used vehicle for us and did the up-front work to ensure it's road ready and safe!
It’s a big ask in a very short amount of time, and we know that.
🚙🐾 GOAL: $2,500 BY SATURDAY 🐾🚙
We’ve done some pretty incredible things for animals with the help of this community. Can we do this one, too?
Donate if you can. Share if you can’t. Tag someone who might want to help us put a rescue vehicle on the road.
$0 / $2,500 — raised so far❤️
