The Ferrum Community lost a very caring, giving community member, Ivey Cook, on Friday, Oct. 11. Ivey was a good friend and dedicated Ferrum Lions member for many years. He and wife Inez both were active members in Lions and other community groups. Inez coordinated our eyeglass giving program. When Ivey joined our club he immediately took on a leadership roll helping with the former Ferrum Lions Club Chili fundraiser at the Annual Folklife Festival. He also as president and in various other rolls to help raise money for our Lions Outreach Program. You will be missed, Ivey. Rest in peace, Ivey.
