Vets 4 Vets was established in 2009 and became the first ever student organization at The Ohio State University for veterans. Once established, Vets 4 Vets immediately became a chapter of the Student Veterans of America (SVA). The SVA was established in January 2008 in order to provide res

ources, programs, and support for student-veteran organizations. Since 2008, the SVA has grown to over 1,100 student-veteran chapters, and Vets 4 Vets is honored to be a part of it. We are privileged enough to be able to work hand in hand with the Military and Veteran Services office, the Veteran Ambassadors located in different departments throughout the university, and the local and campus communities. The mission for Vets 4 Vets is to support and assist veterans in their transition from the military to employment and education. We strive to provide an environment where future veterans can learn the expectations of the military and the current veterans can experience similarities from the times in which they served – an environment where the missing bond of comraderie, can once again be established.
