💫Wow — today was truly incredible.💫

Our youth from Next Gen Kindness had the powerful opportunity to attend live courtroom proceedings in Genesee County and meet three remarkable women serving on the bench: The Honorable Judge Hood, The Honorable Judge Heath, and The Honorable Judge Barkey.

We are so deeply grateful to these strong, compassionate leaders for welcoming us into their courtroom, sharing their personal journeys, best practices, and words of wisdom, and for showing our youth what kindness, strength, and leadership truly look like in action.

A special thank you to Honorable Judge Hood for inviting us into her chambers, introducing us to her colleagues, and taking the time to answer thoughtful questions from students who are already dreaming about careers in law. That personal connection meant more than words can express.

This experience was so powerful, not only for our youth, but for the adults who attended as well. It was moving, empowering, motivating, and truly life-changing.

✨We are incredibly thankful for the grace, openness, and inspiration these amazing women shared with us. This is what “youth helping youth” and community partnership is all about.✨

💫Today we had the pleasure of visiting in Fenton and meeting with Branch Manager Chelsea and her amazing team.

✨💫Wednesday marked our final drop-off for the Dignity Project at AGS Middle School, and our hearts are so full.

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing staff who hosted Kindness Month throughout March and welcomed us into their school community. Thank you for being open to this partnership and for allowing us to work together to grow a mission that truly reflects youth helping youth.

Because of your support and the generosity of everyone who donated and participated, students in your building now have greater access to essential dignity items when they need them most.

This is what kindness in action looks like. This is what community looks like.

Thank you for believing in this mission and for making a difference right where it matters.✨💫

Watching our NextGen Kindness Club students step out into the community this week was something special. ✨

They walked into local businesses, introduced themselves, shared our mission to support the kids at Whaley Children’s Center, and asked for gift card donations for our May project.

But this was about so much more than gift cards.

This was about learning how to speak to strangers with confidence.
✨How to clearly explain a cause they believe in.
✨How to handle “no” without taking it personally.
✨And how to keep going anyway.

One of my favorite quotes is: “If you never ask, the answer is always no.”
These students got to live that lesson in real time.

We are so proud of the way they represented kindness, courage, and heart in our community.

💫A very special thank you to Dr. Haddad and Grand Blanc Pediatrics for their generous donation and for encouraging our students along the way.💫

This is what growing kindness looks like. 🌱

May Kindness Project 💛

This month, we’re showing up for the incredible foster kids at Whaley Children’s Center in a very simple, very meaningful way.

We’re asking you to do two easy things:

✨ Check your drawers, wallets, cars, and kitchen counters for any unused fast food gift cards✨
✨ If you don’t have any, consider sending a few dollars via Venmo so our NextGen Kindness youth can go purchase gift cards to donate

No amount is too small. Every single card becomes a moment where a child gets to say, “I’ll pick what I want today.”💫

That choice matters more than we realize.

💫Let’s turn forgotten gift cards and small donations into big smiles for kids who deserve it most. 💫
