Our Mission

The Fenton Village Players is a performing arts organization with the intent of providing community opportunities and facilities to study, appreciate, and participate in the arts, including professional-quality theatre. A Community

The Fenton Village Players is all about community — our organization’s community, the performing arts community and our community at large. We value the people around us and believe our theatre has a responsibility to give back to our communities. We work closely with other local theatres — Flint Community Players, Clarkston Village Players, Clio Cast & Crew, and others — by sharing of talent, resources, and, of course, coming out and supporting their productions. The Fenton Village Players’ is in close partnership with Kidz Theatre Kompany — with which we share the Fenton Village Playhouse — to instill a love of theatre in our youth. The Players’ are regularly involved in events in and around Fenton, including parades, the cemetery walk, murder mystery theatre, performing arts workshops and more. Professional Quality

A longstanding goal of the Players’ has been to eliminate the stigma that “community theatre” is synonymous with “sub-par”. We accomplish this goal by educating directors, actors, and backstage crews in the art and science of theatre production. To be a part of our theatre, no prior experience is required. But be prepared! We’ll make sure you get the experience you need! We take pride in our work and our craft. Don’t be shy: Get Involved! (http://fentontheatre.org/volunteer/)

Upcoming Audition Information!!!
Our KTK / FVP crossover summer show is always such a great experience for everyone involved. We have received a lot of requests to do a straight play instead of a musical and we have decided to do just that this summer.
Our 2026 KTK/FVP show will be, "The Crucible". We think this will be a great experience for our older KTK kids who are looking for something more challenging and a different experience from our usual fun, light hearted musicals (although those are also fun!).
Auditions will be held on Monday, June 22nd at 6:30pm at The Fenton Village Players theatre. *If you are unable to attend auditions that night but would like to be considered for casting please send in an audition video (prior to audition night) including a short monologue along with your information and email it to: [email protected].
Scripts will be passed out after casting is finalized so you can learn your lines over the summer at your leisure. Then rehearsals will start on July 20th and go for 3 weeks (through August 6th). There will be one weekend of performances, August 7-9.
We can't wait to see you all on Monday, June 22nd!
