Welcome Rusty to AWR. This adorable 4 month old Doberman puppy was picked as a stray by a local shelter. Rusty is now a part of AWR. Rusty is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped. He will have updated reports on him in the next few days. Rusty will need an owner willing to work with him and do some training. He is young and most likely has had no one work with him.

Sadly, AWR lost another Alumni. Mo was adopted in 2017 and was around 10 years old. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his family. RIP, Mo💔

AWR is so sad to hear the passing of one of our alumni’s, Ellie. She had a wonderful family who loved her dearly and her sis, Ishie, will miss her dearly. Canine cancer is so tough. RIP pain free, Ellie💔

Welcome Misty to AWR. DONATIONS NEEDED. Misty is a super sweet 7 year old female. Misty has come to us with some health issues we were not aware of before she arrived. She has some serious skin allergy or yeast issues with her skin, loosing hair and dry skin. We are working with a vet to get this cleared up. She also has receding gums and will be having 4-5 teeth extracted because the roots are showing. It’s hard to believe her previous owner didn’t have this taken care of it, has to be painful. We are now faced with with extra vet bills totally around $1300. On the bright side Misty is so sweet and loving. She is current on shots, microchipped, spayed, housebroken and good with other dogs. She should be ready for adoption in a couple weeks, once she has recovered from her dental and her skin is looking better.

Happy Adoption Day, Max!

Meet Max. Max is a very sweet 5 year old male Weimaraner looking for his forever home. Max is getting caught up on his vaccinations and will be neutered and microchipped on Monday. Max is very sweet and loves people and children. He has lived with a small dog, but hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. We will get him around some dogs next week and update on his progress. Max is housebroken and crate trained.

AWR is so sad to hear that one of our alumni’s, Ellie, has crossed the Rainbow bridge. Ellie was 13 and her family adopted her 12 1/2 years ago. We want to thank the Taylor family for giving her her such a good life and so much love. RIP, Ellie💔
