Dear Loaf & Sole legends 🥖👟🐟

This one’s a little crumby to share. After a lot of kneading, praying, and trying not to spread ourselves too thin, we’ve made the hard decision to pause the Loaf & Sole 5K this year. Before anyone starts floundering, we’re not saying never again. Just not right now.

As we launch , our new nonprofit commissary kitchen and community space supporting other nonprofits and food entrepreneurs (including ), we need to focus our time and energy there. For this season, all our loaves and fishes need to be in one basket 🥖🐟.

This pause is hard. Recently, we learned of a family who hung an ornament celebrating their kiddos very first 5K. And they chose Loaf & Sole! That moment is exactly why this event has always meant so much to us.

We’re deeply grateful for every runner, volunteer, donor, and supporter who made Loaf & Sole special. If you’d like to stay connected, follow Table 7three for other fundraisers happening this year.

We can't let Mother's Day pass without giving a shoutout to these two super moms who ran a 5k, pushed a stroller, kept their kiddos entertained while running said 5k, AND placed in their age division! 💪🏻💪🏻 To ALL the moms out there juggling all the things, you rock!! Keep it up! ❤️

Medal Monday shoutout goes to Keli and Avalon with the ! Avalon was a champ Saturday and ran her first 5k! She is currently available for adoption and clearly makes a great running companion! Here is a little more about her Avalon – “Avalon is a 1-year-old sweetheart weighing in at a petite 38 pounds. This girl is gentle, affectionate, and is excited and friendly with other dogs. She enjoys playing and would love a doggy friend to help boost her confidence and show her the ropes. Avalon is still filling out and learning about the world, but her sweet nature makes her easy to love. She`s both cuddly and playful and would thrive in a home that will help her continue to blossom. Loafers! Are you getting excited!?! Packet pickup is tomorrow!! 🎉🎉 Where: Genesis Church in Fayetteville. Please come to the Fellowship Hall entrance. Time: 10:00am to 6:00pm. If you are unable to pickup your packet you can get it the morning of the race. Virtual Loafers! Your packets will be mailed next week! Questions? We are only TWO days shy of race day!! Registration closes tomorrow at noon and spots are filling up fast! It's going to be a morning of fun competition, delicious burritos, and maybe even a surprise or two 😉. Not to mention $10 gift cards to for our top finishers, cash prizes for our top 3 make/female winners, and of course a prize for our last finisher!
