Supercamp was founded in 1975 by adult and teen 4-H Junior Leaders members to provide an exciting new leadership opportunity for teens, as well as a fun weekend camp for kids aged 9-13.

⭐ SUPERCAMP 50 IS HISTORY!!! ⭐

It was the Weekend of a Lifetime like no other! Campers spent last weekend meeting new friends, dancing, singing, exploring nature, practicing their archery skills, working together to build our mascot Herman a super anniversary structure, contributing to a camp wide quilt, gathering round the campfire, writing warm fuzzies, and most special of all, celebrating 50 years of fun and friendship!! It is truly unbelievable to think that Supercamp has been spreading joy, laughter, and soup for 50 years. And it couldn't have been possible without the incredible staff, counselors, parents and campers we've met along the way. THANK YOU!!!💛

4 WEEKS until the 50th annual Supercamp!

Our counselors were hard at work (or hard at play?) last week training for the weekend of a lifetime! Counselors spend 3 trainings getting to know each other, learning how to work together as a team of leaders, and collaborating to prepare sessions, programs, and activities for campers. It may look just like a lot of fun and games, but it's through the fun and games that we can develop the life skills we hope to instill in our counselors and campers: team building, self expression, problem solving, and community!

Would you like a chance to win this beautiful, one of a kind, handmade quilt?

We never want the inability to pay to be what keeps campers from coming to camp. Each year, Supercamp’s founder, Edie D**e, makes a quilt to donate for fundraising. 

Money raised from raffle tickets go towards our scholarship funds, which help cover camper registration fees. For just $1 a ticket, you can help your favorite 9-13 year olds go to camp! Here’s what you need to do:

- Go to our website, found in our bio.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the homepage. There you will find photos of this year's quilt along with a link to click.
- From there, you will be taken to the raffle site, Zeffy (this is also where you can register for camp), where you can select the number of tickets you would like to buy. Don’t want to buy a raffle ticket, but still want to support? You can also choose to make a donation! Supercamp receives 100% of your contribution with no added fees.
- After pressing Select, you will be prompted to put in your payment information. This is also where you can choose to make a donation to Zeffy, the online platform that makes our raffle possible. If you would not like to donate, that's okay too! You can just type 0 in the box.
- Press Confirm and you’re done!

The winner of this awesome quilt will be drawn and announced during Closing Circle on the Sunday of camp.

Happy Valentine's Day, Supercamp Family! This day is about all things love, and for 50 years, Supercamp has been cultivating the greatest love of all: friendship! Share with us your treasured Supercamp moments and memories throughout the years! It has been a privilege to watch friendship flourish through time at Supercamp, and we hope it may continue for years to come!

For 50 years, Supercamp Counselors have been playing games, singing songs, and sitting around the campfire with campers from all over the tristate area. While these activities are intrinsic to the culture of Supercamp, being a Supercamp Counselor is much more than that.

In part, it is about your fellow counselors: Working hard alongside like-minded leaders to develop one of a kind programs to entertain and inspire campers, problem solving to strengthen your bond as a team, and finding an unlikely family among your peers.

Most importantly, it is about the campers: Instilling a sense of confidence and collaboration in young campers through teambuilding, letting your guard down to invite campers to embrace their silly side, and simply being that supportive role model that shows campers that you believe in their ideas.

Looking back on Supercamps' past, it is truly the joy, dedication, and love of hundreds of counselors that have given Supercamp the legacy it has. Will you help us continue it?!
