Hi Everyone, I wanted to give some information on the finances of our program. Over the past few years we have had a few large generous donations to help get the program off the ground. We have however been running at a deficit for over a year now and we need some more consistent financial support to help keep this program going. It takes approximately $25,000 per year to run our program so that is our annual goal. It costs approximately $300 per student so if you have any children in the program and you normally give to charity I would highly encourage donating your child's cost to the program so we can provide this program to children whose family may not be able to afford the cost. Starting in 2026 families can deduct up to $2,000 of charitable contributions without having to itemize on their tax returns so it is also an opportunity to save some tax dollars. Please pass this along to anyone who may be interested. Thanks for all your support!

Hi Everyone, we are still looking to fill our director position so if you know of anyone that may be interested you can reach out to us either in the comments or direct message. Please pass the word on to your family, friends, and church. The position requires approximately 5 hours per week and it pays by the hour. Hourly rate would be in the $20 per hour range. This program is very important to our community so please help us spread the word to help us get this position filled. Also we are looking for more board members if anyone is interested in that as well. We usually meet for 1 hour per month. Thanks for your support!

We have a few openings for LifeWise Fayette. Please share as we are looking to hire a new director for our program, along with getting a few more board members to help ease the transition. It was a great last week of lifewise! We’ve enjoyed having all the kids this year. Praying everyone has a great summer! Hope to see you all next year!

There is a change this week.

Tuesday: stays the same K-1st grade. Chicken nuggets, fries, fruit, ice cream and drink.
Wednesday: 4-7 grade we will be changing to Pizza, chips, fruit, ice cream and drink.
Thursday: 3-4th grade we will be change to pizza, chips, fruit, ice cream and drink.

The days changed so we can accommodate the 4th 5th and 6th grade can go to Harrison lake.

We are looking forward to a great last week of class!

Next week (May 5-7) is our last week of LifeWise for this year. The children do not need to bring lunch it will be provided for them.

Kindergartners learned about the Golden calf. The word for them was truthfulness. God sees us and knows all so we should always tell the truth.

1st graders learned about the prophet Jeremiah. We talked about how God formed each one of the kids in their mother’s womb and that God loves them and has a plan for them. Their word was Sacrifice. Giving myself to help someone else.

It’s Amanda’s birthday, so some of the kids made them cards! The fourth grade learned about the Good Samaritan. The 5th and 6th grade learned about the different gifts God gives us.
