What a beautiful and uplifting May meeting for the Long Island (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. Today was filled with love, laughter, friendship, wisdom, and so many smiles.

We proudly celebrated the re-election of our Vice President, Diane McFarlane, and our Recording Secretary, Jennifer Scott, and also honored our newest alumna member, Dr. Teresa Taylor Williams.

Moments like these remind us of the power of friendship, service, and the lasting bonds we continue to build together. 💚✨

Flashback: 🔦 Our chapter was proud to partner with the Eastern Shore (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated for an engaging and thought-provoking Banned Books event. Through meaningful dialogue, book giveaways, and shared reflection, attendees left enlightened and inspired to continue important conversations around literacy along with access.

Members of our chapter participated in the 2026 Day at the Capitol hosted by The Links, Incorporated New York State Legislative & Public Affairs Committee in Albany on April 28, 2026.

This impactful day provided opportunities for advocacy, engagement, and fellowship as Links from across New York State gathered to discuss legislative priorities and issues impacting our communities, including education, health equity, public policy, and social justice initiatives.

Our chapter is proud to continue the mission of The Links, Incorporated through civic engagement, advocacy, and service.

In true Link fashion, the Long Island (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated gathered to take care of the business of our chapter—while simultaneously pouring into the strength of our friendship chain. 💚

From meaningful dialogue and purposeful planning to reflecting on the impact of our Family Wellness Expo at Green Acres Mall, the day was a powerful reminder of who we are and what we do serving communities. We paused to celebrate and honor our phenomenal sisters whose commitment to service continues to uplift our communities and elevate our chapter.

Around here, excellence is not the exception—it’s the norm. And celebrating one another is simply what we do. 💫

We served and celebrated at the 2026 Family Wellness Expo at Green Acres Mall! 💚✨

It was a beautiful day of community, connection, and care as families came out to access resources, health screenings, and support. We were honored to be joined by Deputy Supervisor & Senior Councilwoman Dorothy L. Goosby, NYS Assembly Member Michaelle Solages, and a representative for Legislator Olena Nicks.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and made this day impactful. This is what service looks like—community, wellness, and love in action.
