One month until our scholarship application deadline! Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting a whole host of scholarship opportunities. Our scholarships are not only for the high-flying gpa students! We have scholarships available to students who have participated in a wide variety of activities (sports, arts, languages and more), students who plan to pursue particular majors or attend specific schools (including community colleges), scholarships for exceptional community volunteers, students who have overcome adversity, and the list goes on and on. Now that the whirlwind of the holidays are (almost) behind us, it’s a good time to encourage the high school seniors or current college students in your life to apply for scholarship assistance through the SPF Scholarship Foundation! Scholarships are open to residents of Scotch Plains and Fanwood. Visit our website at https://spfscholarshipfoundation.org/scholarship-application for more information and to apply now! Applications must be received by 5 pm on February 6th, but don’t wait until the last minute to apply, as tech glitches or missing documentation can be addressed prior to the deadline, but not after.

Local peeps: It’s that time of year again! The SPF Scholarship Foundation‘s Dining for Dollars fundraiser starts tomorrow and there are opportunities throughout the week to support local restaurants while raising money for scholarship assistance for local graduating HS seniors and current college students! Be sure to mention Dining for Dollars and show the flyer/fb post so a portion of your check will go to this excellent cause! Hope to see you around town!
