The Tiny Tim Fund of Fanwood-Scotch Plains

The Tiny Tim Fund of Fanwood-Scotch Plains Since 1983, The Tiny Tim Fund has assisted children living in SPF with medical expenses when in need.

The annual Carol Night is the only fundraising event of the year for The Tiny Tim Fund. During Carol Night carolers go from from home to home on their pre-selected route, caroling for donations for the Fund. The monies raised are provided to local children who have medical needs and not the funds to pay for them.

The Tiny Tim Fund Needs Volunteers

The Tiny Tim Fund is a registered NJ non-profit Corporation 501 (c)(3) that raises funds to provide financial assistance to help families pay for children's medical expenses in Fanwood and Scotch Plains, including doctors, dentists, and psychological testing. The organization has been assisting local families since 1983.

The Tiny Tim Fund Board invites community members to enjoy the tradition of caroling on Tiny Tim Carol Night and spreading holiday cheer while soliciting donations to form a group and commit to caroling on December 11th. A carol group comprises family members, neighbors, co-workers, scout groups, church organizations, etc. If needed, a group can also select a more convenient date to carol.

To register a carol group and/or receive more information about Carol Night, please get in touch with Barbara at 732-259-6348 or Mari at 908-917-5979. It is helpful for volunteers to register as soon as possible so that board members can have the materials ready.

Since carol groups will not be able to reach all neighborhoods in Fanwood and Scotch Plains, donations from individuals, civic, service, and school organizations are greatly appreciated and can be mailed directly to the Tiny Tim Fund. Checks made payable to the Tiny Tim Fund can be sent to The Tiny Tim Fund, PO Box 81, Fanwood, NJ 07023. All donations can make a difference in a child's life.

The Tiny Tim Fund is administered by a volunteer Board of Trustees composed of Fanwood and Scotch Plains citizens from varied sections of the community. There are no administrative fees. All collected contributions are dispersed for children’s needs.

The Tiny Tim Carol Night is an annual event and it is the organization’s sole fundraiser. The trustees are hopeful that community members who have generously supported the Fund in the past as well as new donors will make it possible for the fund to continue providing assistance to current cases and be able to accept new requests for financial assistance during the coming year.
