Join the Fallbrook Land Conservancy for their inaugural 9/11 Memorial Hike on Saturday, September 12, at Monserate Mountain Preserve.

As we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, this special event provides an opportunity for our community to come together to remember the 2,977 lives lost.

Participants will hike Monserate Mountain as a tribute to those who never came home and to the spirit of service that continues to unite our nation. The Monserate Mountain was chosen because it has the similar elevation gain as the World Trade Towers.

🚒 North County Fire Protection District is proud to support this event by providing water stations for participants.

Gather your family, friends, coworkers, or a team and join us in remembering, honoring, and serving our community.

This last month Daniel “the maniel” Rixon passed probation. Dan came to us a few years back as a single role Paramedic after working with a couple other agencies in the county as a Firefighter Paramedic. Dan rocked probation and passed all his tests with flying colors. Join us in congratulating dan on a successful year 1. We look forward to the next 29!

1622 wants to congratulate Firefighter Mikhail “Misha” “Mike” Johnson on completing his probation. Mike first came here as a Paramedic Intern in 2022 and then worked his way into a Paramedic job and Probationary Firefighter job. The fallbrook firefighters are stoked to have him and can’t wait for the next 29 years. Congrats big Mica

Our members are proud to answer the call for mutual aid as four of our firefighters are currently deployed to Washington to assist with the devastating wildland fires impacting communities across the region.

While these members are helping protect lives and property hundreds of miles away, we want to assure our community that we remain fully staffed and committed to providing the same high level of emergency service here at home.

Our members got to take part in the REINS Leadership and Followership Training. This training, which the US Military uses as well, is a great opportunity for all of us to grow together and strengthen our teams on and off the fireground REINS Therapeutic Horsemanship
