General information

Sebastian received Good Dog! Thunder through Good Dog! Autism Companions in December 2019 after having to retire his former service dog, Yellow, early due to an unforeseen medical condition.

Our Story

Sebastian is like any other 9 year-old in many ways. He enjoys playing video games, drawing pictures, singing, and creating YouTube videos for his channel, The PowerUp Brothers. He is a charismatic kid with an infectious laugh who loves his family, friends, and teachers.

However, Sebastian has two medical conditions that cause him to be different from neuro-typical kids: autism and sensory processing disorder. These neurological conditions significantly impact his communication, social skills, and sensory experiences.

Thunder is Sebastian’s Service dog. He is a Golden Retriever that was named after one of Sebastian’s favorite Imagine Dragon songs. When he is not on duty, Thunder enjoys playing with his tennis ball and getting lots of love and cuddles from his family.
