We have two incredible horses who itās hard to believe they havenāt found their forever people yetā¤ļø
Maple and Basil were Kataluna rescues from a kill pen down in Texas earlier this summer. They have both made absolutely *incredible* turn arounds, and are thriving horses. They both are up to date on all their medical needs (vaccines, dentals, deworming, farrier care, etc), they both do great in a herd with mares, geldings, mini horses & mini cows, and absolutely love people.
Maple is 20-22 year old chestnut quarter horse cross mare standing right around 14.3hh. She is going to be someoneās absolute dream come true. She is kind and loving, great with kids, dogs, loves to be brushed, bathed, trailers great and has a beautiful walk trot and lope under saddle. We think she would do best as someoneās family horse who need a gal they can trust and love onā¤ļø

Basil is a 9 year old registered off the track thoroughbred chestnut gelding standing around 16.1hh. He is an absolute puppy dog! He loves to play and run around as those ottbs do, but he has the sweetest heart, loves baths and brushing, also great with kids and dogs and is just enjoying his best life. Basils feet were pretty rough when we first got him in so he is still on the final stages of his hoof rehab but he moves great and is an overall happy camper. The thing to note about Basils current physical health, is we are not showing him as a riding horse due to his diagnosed kissing spine. We have done extensive research into his KS development to see how best to support Basil, and based off his exams he actually does really well! Our vet gave the green light for Basil to be a light riding horse if you have kids who want a gentle pony ride or just want to sit on him out in the pasture and love him, but ideally he will be someoneās absolute golden pasture buddy!
