Shelby County York Rite The York Rite Masonic Bodies of Shelby and Surrounding Counties It consists of three separate organizations, each with it's own distinct ceremonies and customs.

The York Rite branch of Freemasonry is a form of adding more light and knowledge to the Master Mason. The Royal Arch Mason Chapter consists of four degrees that complete the symbolic lodge journey (in some parts of the world, a man isn't made a complete Master Mason until he completes the Royal Arch Degree). The Cryptic Mason Council degrees expands the stories of the symbolic lodge, from a new an

d unique perspective. The Orders of the Commandery teach the virtues necessary for man to become a better person and to defend the beliefs of the Christian Religion.
