Shelby County York Rite The York Rite Masonic Bodies of Shelby and Surrounding Counties It consists of three separate organizations, each with it's own distinct ceremonies and customs.

The York Rite branch of Freemasonry is a form of adding more light and knowledge to the Master Mason. The Royal Arch Mason Chapter consists of four degrees that complete the symbolic lodge journey (in some parts of the world, a man isn't made a complete Master Mason until he completes the Royal Arch Degree). The Cryptic Mason Council degrees expands the stories of the symbolic lodge, from a new and unique perspective. The Orders of the Commandery teach the virtues necessary for man to become a better person and to defend the beliefs of the Christian Religion.

Order of the Temple for 3 Knights of Malta, Rick Simmons and JR Davis of Baldwin Commandery #2 and David Pritchard of Columbus Commandery #14.

A great turn out of 16 Sir Knights of Baldwin Commandery #2 and 7 Visiting Sir Knights including Sir Knight Dominic J. Hamblin, REGC of the Grand Commandery Knights Templar of Indiana.

A wonderful dinner was provided by the Ladies of Social Order of the Beauceant (SOOB) #90.

Thank you to all of Sir Knights on the Order and a Big Welcome to our Newest Sir Knights!

A homage was paid to our Sir Knights on this October the 13th. We knew it wasn't Friday the 13th. But None the less it is a Historic Day in Templary.
