UPDATE: Notification emails have JUST been sent. I can't wait to direct this cast.
Auditions for The Outsiders went off in spectacular fashion and contrary to preconceived notions ALL auditioners will be cast. Not all will have a speaking role or even a large role but this is the problem when you have an overflowing cauldron of talent at your disposal. To a person, every individual who tried out was worthy of a premium role which made the choices difficult, but in the end we have a cast we will all be proud of... frankly... this cast is freaking stacked. This show is going to be SO AMAZING. Thanks to Phoenix Haessler-Xu for being my conscience and helping me make the hard decisions. I will, of course, sleep on it and release the cast list to the kids and their families tomorrow night, barring any changes of heart. You MUST come see this show.

AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT - HELLO FYPA Friends, Families, Fans, and Followers. We have been quite silent since the run of Xanadu Jr. wrapped up. To a person, we left it ALL on that stage and as a result, were ALL quite exhausted for our efforts. But we wouldn't trade it for anything, because that show raised the bar and our kids performed at another level. If you saw it, you know. And if you didn't... well, our job is to move on and get your butts in the seats for the next one. That said, after a nice, restful 6 week break, we are BACK, and ready to start working on our fall play, The Outsiders, based on the novel by S.E. Hinton. Auditions are Saturday October 3rd and Sunday October 4th at Golden Magnolia Sanctuary from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Because The Outsiders has a small cast and very few opportunities for additional roles. We may not be able to cast every student who auditions, and casting will be limited to performers in grades 5–12. While not required, your RSVP for Auditions is super helpful as it allows us to be prepared for the turnout. Please use the link below to RSVP.
