We serve children of Burlington, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer and Salem counties Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are trained volunteers who make recommendations in court that support the best interests of youth in the foster care system who have experienced abuse and/or neglect. A child who has experienced abuse or neglect has come from a world of chaos and instability. For the child,

there is fear; fear of being hurt, fear of being alone, and fear about the future. A CASA volunteer can be the sole source of stability and comfort to fill an enormous void in the child’s life. A CASA volunteer is a trusted, dependable adult who gives the child hope for a better future. As a CASA volunteer, you will provide invaluable support to your community's most vulnerable children, helping them achieve permanency and setting them up for a successful future.
