May 31 is the last day of may for mental health awareness.- What can you do today for your emotional wellbeing?
Engaging in mindfulness practices, physical exercise, and creative arts are effective activities to boost mental wellness. Additionally, maintaining a good sleep schedule and socializing can also significantly improve mental health. Also very importantly, contributing to other people in your communities’ overall health is essential too.

S'adonner à des pratiques de pleine conscience, à l'exercice physique et aux arts créatifs sont des activités efficaces pour stimuler le bien-être mental. De plus, maintenir un bon rythme de sommeil et entretenir des liens sociaux peuvent également améliorer considérablement la santé mentale. Autre point d'une importance capitale : contribuer à la santé globale des membres de votre communauté est tout aussi essentiel.

What a wonderful privilege to share with and wish our colleagues, partners and friends in the Asian communities a Happy ( Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) / AAPI; AANHPI ) 2026 Heritage Month as the month is heading to closure!
7.84% of the population in our city of Everett, Massachusetts, is Asian and Asian - Americans and their contributions to the city and our society are extremely significant. The Asian population in Everett, Massachusetts, is growing primarily due to immigration, with Asian Americans being the fastest-growing racial group in the state. Additionally, the overall increase in diversity in the district contributes to this growth within our school system, our high technology, restaurant industry and many more areas. EHCC was honored to join BCNC at its joyful Lantern Festival in Boston this month with 230 guests who came together to celebrate community and immigrant families. EHCC salutes our Asian brothers and sisters, students in our Everett school system. and families in Everett and beyond on this special occasion in their cultural heritage!

It was an honor for two of the Everett Haitian Community Center’s staff team leaders Guy and Saraii to represent our Everett Community at the 2026 Equity Conference in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Eliminating disparities and improving outcomes for everyone by changing policies, practices, systems, and structures to prioritize measurable change in the lives of people of marginalized communities is critical and equity aims to ensure that everyone has a fair chance to thrive, regardless of their race. EHCC is very proud of your FC work and much more that you do, Saraii and Guy!
