There are plenty of places to work for a summer.

But what if your work could mean something more?

At SpringHill, Summer Leaders earn a paycheck while doing work that matters. They serve, lead and help create experiences where young people can know Jesus and grow in their faith.

And along the way, they grow, too.

Summer 2027 applications are open. More than a summer job. Come Find Out.

Parents, grandparents, mentors and friends, you probably know a young person who would thrive here.

Send this their way. ➡️ Link in bio or comments on Facebook.

Women’s Retreat Recap Part 2: The Beauty of What God Was Doing

Some moments are loud with laughter.

Others are quiet enough to hear what God may be saying.

This weekend gave us both.

Through worship, teaching, prayer, conversation and time to simply be still, women were invited to look honestly at the stories God is writing in their lives.

And afterward, they shared what the weekend meant to them.

“Last year my marriage was about over, and I believe coming here and experiencing the retreat for the first time helped God guide me and my marriage. It has been transformed.”

Another woman shared:

“Kelsey really helped change and strengthen my relationship with the Lord. Each ending had me in tears, really feeling the Lord’s presence.”

And this one may capture Kelsey best:

“She made me cry from laughter or tenderness or sadness. Such an engaging and skilled speaker. I was especially impressed with her authenticity and prayer method.”

Our theme, My Days Tell a Story: Finding God in Every Chapter, became more than words on a screen.

We saw it in women remembering where God has been faithful.
In honest conversations about difficult chapters.
In worship and prayer.
In friendships strengthened and new ones formed.
In quiet moments beneath the trees.
And in women making room for the Holy Spirit to speak into whatever chapter they are living right now.

These photos capture the beauty of the weekend.

But some of the most powerful things God was doing could never be captured by a camera.

“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” Hebrews 12:2

Thank you to every woman who came, worshiped, listened, shared and trusted us with a piece of her story. Thank you to our wonderful speaker, Kelsey.

The retreat may be over.

But God is still writing your story.

🚚 The Red Truck Miracle | Part 1 of 3
Some of you may remember Enoch telling this story.
In SpringHill’s earliest days, Enoch’s truck broke down while he was picking up donated supplies. With the growing needs of camp in front of him, God gave Enoch the audacious courage to ask for a truck. Not to buy one. To give one.
That day, a local car dealer did something that surprised even himself: he donated a red 2½-ton truck to SpringHill.
The Red Truck Miracle became a lasting reminder of God’s provision and a story Enoch shared with generations of SpringHill campers.
And how sweet it is to hear Enoch tell the story himself.
Decades later, that story is beginning again.
Watch Enoch tell the original Red Truck story, and follow along for Parts 2 and 3 to see what comes next.
Red Truck 2.0.

Camp ended. The community didn’t.

This fall, we packed up a little SpringHill and hit the road for our Fall Reunion Tour ‘26, visiting 10 colleges and universities across the Midwest to reconnect with our 2026 Summer Leaders right where they are now.

In Indiana, we visited Taylor University, Ball State, Indiana Wesleyan, and Purdue. In Michigan, we stopped at MSU, Central Michigan, Ferris State, GVSU, Hope College, and Cornerstone, plus a coffee shop in Rochester to catch up with some of our under-18 summer staff!

Members of our Emerging Leadership Program (ELP) showed up on campuses to catch up, hear how life is going, and remind our Summer Leaders of something important:

You mattered here this summer. And you still matter to us.

Because the relationships built at SpringHill aren’t meant to end when the last camper heads home.

We even brought along a little piece of camp with SpringHill bags, vintage stickers, and some fun sodas. Because obviously a reunion needs snacks. 🙂

To every Summer Leader we got to see along the way: we loved coming to you this time.

And to everyone who spent Summer 2026 serving campers alongside us, thank you. We’re grateful you’re part of the SpringHill community, wherever this school year has taken you.

Could this be your community next summer?

Labor Day families, what was THE moment from this weekend your family is still talking about? ❤️

Color Wars? The 5K? Ziplining together? Sunday Night Live? The pool slide? Campfires and conversations? Or something completely different?

When we asked families about their weekend, some of our favorite answers weren’t really about the activities at all.

“We had space to really slow down and talk.”

“Laughter, connecting with old friends and new, unhurried conversation…”

“We had good talks with our kids about the teaching content.”

“We had time to disconnect and grow relationships with Jesus and one another.”

There was plenty of adventure, worship, laughter and fun—but underneath it all was something families don’t get nearly enough of:

Time to slow down.
Time to really talk.
Time to reconnect.
Time to grow closer to Jesus and one another.

Summing it up? Priceless family time. ❤️

If you were here, tell us your family’s favorite moment in the comments—and tag the friends you shared the weekend with!
