Call to Action!!! we need everyone's help.

The Grand Lodge is working diligently with our friends in the Legislature to have our Act of Incorporation amended. If this Act is amended and signed into Law our Masonic Temples will be exempt from Real and Personal Property Taxes. This is a crucial time in our Masonic history and the time to finish this is now. We're asking you at this time to contact your Legislator and ask for their support of this important legislation. The bill will be submitted on January 28th and right now, the more co-sponsors we can get to sign on the better. I've attached some items below to assist you in contacting your legislators. Both Senate and House need to be encouraged to support this legislation. Our thanks to Senator and Brother Rick Jones for sponsoring the legislation in the Senate and Representative and Brother Ken Goike for sponsoring the bill in the House. For further Information, please visit this page and act NOW!

As we move further into the fall season, it has a deeper esoteric meaning peculiar to Freemasons.

When we approached the autumnal equinox, the day was as long as was the night. At that same time, we witnessed a full moon called the Harvest moon. A full moon can be symbolized as completion or the beginning of a death until the new moon, or renewal...

With each passing month we characterize an attack on the sun until the winter solstice, where it symbolically dies. As we reach the full moon in October, it represents the first attack on the sun. When we reach the full moon in November, we'll see the second attack on the sun. Finally we reach the full moon in December, the solstice, where the sun symbolically dies and remains so for three days. There the sun then comes raised in renewal for a new year.....
