Please 'Like' it and you will receive information all year about the next upcoming MI-Evart July 4th 5K Run/Walk. Our founder and Race Director is Ken Willems. Rob Marlatt is the Media Relations/Promotional Coordinator and Webmaster; Ann Willems is the Starting Area Coordinator; Renee Marlatt is the Finish Area Coordinator; Doug Hodges and Joel Hamilton are the Course Management Coordinators. 012, we had just over 200 participants. In 2013, we had just over 300. And in 2014 we were just shy of 400 participants.

Our Story

Since 2012 this small town 5K has been providing a fun and professional experience for over 200 runners and walkers annually. As we celebrate independence day as a nation, the Evart 4th of July 5k also celebrates the independence that comes with healthy living. The funds raised from this event go to support the running programs at Evart Public Schools, allowing us to continue to provide top quality opportunities for our athletes to learn the discipline, endurance, pride, and team work that come the running sport (track and cross country).
