🤍Our angel.
🤍My HERO.
🤍The girl who RESCUED me.
Still unsure how to write this to you all. It’s been a few days since this tragic and devastating event occurred.
That early morning phone call from Megan still repeats in my head. I knew all to well something wasn’t right. Her voice, I was unable to understand as her mind and mouth couldn’t get the words out. I knew it wasn’t good. I wanted to end the call so that whatever it was wouldn’t actually be happening. It was the call that I never wanted to receive, the call I never expected. The call to rush to Blue Pearl.
I still am trying to believe this is isn’t the reality.
Shattered and broken to pieces my heart cries to tell you (if you haven’t heard already) the most devastating passing of our sweet Abigail💔
She was and will forever be our HERO sent to LIFE Rescue after saving her from a shelter in the MOST HORRIFIC conditions, is now the most beautiful angel ⭐️ watching over all of us.
I know this is so difficult for so many of you because not only was she apart of my life from her first day but she became a member of our family for the 10 months while with us, those sleepless nights, those everyday visits to the vet for MONTHS, as she recovered from multiple surgeries, etc. You were ALL APART OF HER JOURNEY and SO MANY of you became apart of my family. She brought so many people TOGETHER. BECAUSE of her we were ALL apart of her life, thousands of you from day one. So, this isn’t just complete devastation for our family but for yours as well.
🤍There are no words for the sadness we are experiencing but we do know she was SO LOVED from people and animals ALL over the GLOBE. Her journey of hope, courage, kindness, forgiveness, and resilience covered the world.
🤍From the deepest of my soul thank you to everyone for your support and love you have given and shown to our sweet Abigail throughout the years. Continued love and prayers to her beloved family as they grieve.
Her memory will live on…….🖤
Love you fur ever and always, my hero, Abigail.

Bonnets For Abigail
Added: unfortunately it was cancer that took her life. It came on so fast and gave no time to act.
