E-Ville Empire Team 5216

Thursday, May 28th, Garber High School hosted their commencements for their graduating seniors. Three of them were members of our team and we couldn’t be more proud of them and to see where their futures take them!

Before we get into the members and their plans, Landon Scharich deserves a special shoutout because he was actually Garber High School’s Valedictorian for the 2026 year! This means he was top of his class, and we couldn’t be more proud to of had him on our team!

Speaking of Landon, he has been a member of our team since his freshman year starting out on the build team and sticking with it all throughout high school. However, since his sophomore year, he has been on our drive team as the operator, and since his junior year, he has been on the Impact team as one of the main speakers! Landon plans on attending Michigan Tech to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering!

Cooper Jacobs has been on our team since his freshman year, starting out as the team’s second photographer. Ever since his sophomore year, however, he has been one of our team’s main photographers, as well as the Impact team’s video editor and even the lead media for our social medias! Cooper plans on attending Delta College for two years and then transferring to Central Michigan University for a degree in Media Arts!

Gain Potts has been on our team since his sophomore year, joining Cooper as one of the teams main photographers as well as being apart of the media and Impact team. His junior year, Gavin was one of the main speakers for the Impact presentation! Gavin plans on attending Delta College for two years and then transferring to Michigan State University to get a degree in Biology!

Even though we are sad they are leaving, we couldn’t be more proud of what they did and are excited to see what their futures turn out to be! Congratulations to the Seniors and may the force be with you!

May the 4th be with everyone! In case you couldn’t tell, we are a team that is based on the Star Wars franchise, so today’s a big day for us. To celebrate, some of our team members, who were at Disney, took our team’s shirt and hung it all around Galaxy’s Edge to show some E-Ville Empire pride!

This impressive start in our first match on Newton set a high score that stood strong throughout all 125 qualifiers, a truly remarkable achievement!

Worlds, day 3: Team 5216 sadly was not chosen for an alliance today. However, a majority of the team went to the local aquarium and had a blast! Even though we were not in an alliance, we couldn’t be more proud of our drivers and everyone else on the team! They all worked so hard to get here and that’s what counts. Now that the season is officially over, it’s time for the off-season. We hope you all enjoyed Rebuilt and may the force be with you!

Worlds, day 2: Our last qualification matches of Worlds has officially ended. We ended the day in 21st out of 75 teams and we still hold the high score for our field! Worlds, day 1: After our 5 qualification matches, team 5216 ended the day in 21st out of 75 other teams! Worlds, the day before competitions: After a very long drive for some and some shorter flights for others, Team 5216 has officially landed in Texas! Sadly, there’s nothing to extraordinary to note today. We got our pit completely set up and did our practice match. Tomorrow is the big day of competitions though! After a well fought day at finals, both of our teams finished incredibly! The E-Ville Empire finished 29th on their field, and their alliance made it all the way to their field’s finals before they were eliminated! The Bounty Hunters were ranked 6th on their field, and their alliance was eliminated in the third round of the double elimination bracket! Both of our teams did so well this year, and we’re so proud of all of their accomplishments!

Today was filled with hard-fought uphill battles, but both of our teams used the force to power through! The E-Ville Empire is the second pick of the third alliance on the Aptiv Foundation field with team 1701, Robocubs, as well as team 3641, The Flying Toasters! Down on the DTE Energy Foundation field, the Bounty Hunters are the captains of alliance four, where they’ll be conquering the galaxy along with teams 3620, Average Joes, and 1502, Technical Difficulties! We wish the best of luck to both of our teams in their upcoming tournament games tommorow.
