Congrats to Lt. Carson!!! He was selected as this month's ENID AM Ambucs Firefighter of the Month!
Enid native and Pioneer High School alumnus Coby Carson serves his community as a Lieutenant with the Enid Fire Department, which he joined in July 2015. During his school years, he was an active athlete playing football and baseball. He later built a diverse educational foundation, earning an associate degree in pre-med from Northwestern Oklahoma State University and a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Central Oklahoma.
In addition to his frontline firefighting duties, Coby manages the administrative side of his profession by serving as the secretary on the Union Executive Board. Outside of public service, he is an entrepreneur who operates his own pool business. He is married to his wife, Leslie, and the couple has two children: 13-year-old Cooper and 11-year-old Ross. In his free time, Coby loves golfing and cheering on his children at their various sporting events.
Coby Carson is the only guy who can put out a house fire, fix your pool pump, file union paperwork, and miss a five-foot golf putt—all before his kids' baseball game starts.

Today we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
