We are a non-profit fighting human trafficking through the transportation industry. This is not a page for recruiting drivers to your company. This is not a page to sell products. We do not tolerate cursing, racist or s*xist comments or cruelty to different people groups. We will ban people who consistently engage in these types of posts. We are not a missing site, but you can post a missing flier if you would like. We ask that you refrain from using a carriers name or a travel plazas name on our public page. If any account sends you personal messages or post on your page claiming to be from TAT, they are lying. We would not contact you this way. Report those accounts as spam and block them. TravelCenters-TA-Petro (TA) cashier Cassandra Fuller has been named the 2026 winner of TAT's Harriet Tubman Award!

In mid-February, Fuller saw a woman enter the store through the quick-service restaurant entrance. She was covered in dirt, barefoot and bleeding from her mouth. Fuller approached her and learned the woman had escaped a man who’d been holding her against her will and physically assaulting her. The woman had managed to jump out of a vehicle on the highway and run toward the lights of the TA location seeking help.

Fuller acted quickly, escorting the woman to the back office to ensure she remained safe and out of public view while they called 911 together. She then waited with her until the police and EMS arrived. She also notified management of the situation.

Due to the actions of Fuller and the TA team, the victim not only received help and evaluation at a nearby medical center, but law enforcement officers later apprehended her perpetrator.

“I didn’t do it for fame, fortune, or recognition,” Fuller said. “I did it because human trafficking is real, lives are being stolen, and this world is already in shambles. When I had the chance to help someone who needed a voice, I did what I hope someone would do for my own family. Winning this award is an honor, but knowing I helped make a difference in someone’s life means more than any recognition ever could. This award is a reminder of why we must keep speaking up, staying vigilant, and standing against trafficking, because doing the right thing shouldn’t require an award, and saving a life should never require a reason. To be honest, after the incident, I thought that’s all it was, a done deal. Months went by before I was even told I’d been nominated.”

The Harriet Tubman Award, sponsored by WEX Fleet comes with a $5,000 check and a trophy and is presented annually to honor a member of the trucking, bus or energy industry, whose direct actions help save or improve the lives of those exploited or prevent human trafficking from taking place.

If no one purchased commercial s*x, the crime of s*x trafficking wouldn't exist...

that TAT has an initiative about just that - addressing the demand for commercial s*x? It's called our Man-to-Man Campaign!

The campaign includes materials such as a free video, brochure, wallet card and more. These materials have been used in buyer diversion programs, men's groups, churches, companies and more!

Let's end s*x trafficking together by addressing it at the root cause. No buyer = no victim = no s*x trafficking!

TAT Mobile Exhibits Specialist Micah Larsen and the Freedom Drivers Project (FDP) attended an event with UPS at their facility in Salt Lake City, Utah on Oct. 6. With the help of UPS volunteers throughout the day, 263 UPS employees toured the exhibit. Forty-nine people filled out a new survey TAT implemented to gain a better understanding of what drivers are seeing on the road.

In the month of October, RCS field teams across all branches completed Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) TAT training focused on recognizing potential signs of human trafficking and understanding how to respond.

Safety reaches beyond the jobsite. As our teams serve clients in their businesses, awareness and prevention is one way we help support safer communities.

TAT Director of Industry Engagement Lexi Higgins attended the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) EXPO in Chicago, Illinois on Oct. 5-7.

The event, hosted every three years by APTA, is "the largest public transportation showcase in the world," during which more than 13,000 transit professionals attended educational sessions, networked with peers, and learned about new innovations from nearly 700 exhibitors.

Special thanks to the Bridgestone Fleet Care / Bridgestone team who shared their exhibit space with TAT to help spread the message about our free, industry-specific, human trafficking training resources for public transit!
