Season of Creation is a time to renew our relationship with all creation. It invites us to pause, reflect, and understand. Celebrated between September 1 and October 4, this year’s theme focuses on Living Water.

Water heals, restores, and makes creation flourish. But it also challenges us to recognize ecological damage, to embrace our interconnectedness, and to immerse ourselves in the responsibility of caring for and restoring our common home.

As our core values call us to care for and be stewards of creation, please join us on this journey of faith, hope, and action.

Peace Ministries gladly joined the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace in assembling backpacks with school supplies for children whose loved ones are detained at Delaney Hall. Together, we can help students begin the school year with dignity, confidence, and hope.

There's something beautiful about gathering with leaders, staff, and trustees across our ministries who are committed to building a more peaceful world.

Yesterday's Mid-Year Formation on "Growing in Nonviolence: Sowing the Seeds of Peace" allowed us to reflect on what it means to cultivate nonviolence in our daily lives and communities. We were reminded that every act of compassion and justice helps build a culture of peace.

May the seeds planted during our conversations continue to grow in our hearts, our communities, and our world.
