As we remember how Jesus endured suffering for our sake, and his victory over death for our redemption, we encourage you to pray for the North Korean people to also know this freedom and deep love for them. 🤲✝️

Please choose a day to set aside time to pray and fast, either a meal or for the day, and remember North Korea in your prayers!
Let’s pray and fast for the North Korean people together! 🧡🙏

Hope Line launched its second webinar this past Sunday, October 13, on the topic “Estate Planning Basics: Successfully Planning for Your Future!” Hope Line seeks to address a variety of life needs within our community, including personal finance, legal counseling, and health and wellness. We held our first webinar on “Personal Finance” back in June and are now preparing to offer additional programs on other topics of interest to our community in the coming months. Please continue to keep this new initiative in your prayers—that God would multiply our resources to bless and nourish His people spiritually, financially, and physically.

Thank you to all those who stopped by our table at the “Run for the Kids” event today! Thank you as well to our partner organization Grace-in-Motion, GCC, and all the coordinators who helped make this event possible for PSALT and the many other organizations involved! It was truly an incredible event filled with palpable energy, shared kingdom vision and love for God and one another! What a joy and encouragement to gather together with brothers and sisters for a common purpose to support children and families living without care in Armenia, and share what God is doing in local communities and around the world. Thank you again for the opportunity!

Today is Save North Korean Refugees Day.

Join us in reaching out to the Chinese government on behalf of the North Korean refugees. Join us in prayer for the North Korean refugees and those who are showing mercy to them. Let us also pray for conviction and repentance for the governments, authorities, traffickers, and other entities involved in destroying so many lives.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 7:14

Last year, on August 30, 2024, two North Korean women were tried and later executed while nine others were sent to slower deaths in political prison camps to serve life sentences. These women were in the group of 600 North Korean refugees that the People’s Republic of China forcibly repatriated to North Korea last October. Forty-two years ago today, the People’s Republic of China signed the 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees and its 1967 Protocol. By signing this agreement on September 24, 1982, the PRC agreed to international protocols for refugees.

Join us in appealing to the CCP and President Xi: please allow safe passage to these North Korean refugees and stop returning them to North Korea to face certain torture and imprisonment and even ex*****on. Unlike any other refugee crisis in the world, North Korean refugees have a place to go for immediate resettlement as citizens of South Korea under Articles 2 and 3 of the Republic of Korea Constitution. In addition to South Korea, many other countries have willingly resettled these refugees.

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHRC) will help China resettle these refugees safely according to international law.
