Our mission at Kaleidoscope Health & Rescue Inc is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals, provide community help with low cost veterinary care and colony health as well as house animals in crisis need(environmental disaster, abuse situations housing issues, etc.) We are committed, passionate and responsive to the animals in our care and community. ers of Kaleidoscope work to support and preserve the precious lives on this planet. We strive to create a humane living environment for those we have contact with. To do this we will work within three large phases:
Phase one: community care, colony health, trap and release. Phase two: feline leukemia sanctuary with land acquisition to set up for the next phase. Phase three: The final phase will be domestic violence community to house not only the pets but the people while the physical and mental trauma mend.

Almost five years...that's how long these two beauties waited to be chosen. Yes, almost FIVE YEARS! You see, Winnie and Spookster are a very bonded sister/brother pair who are very shy and dependent on each other. They needed to find just the right connection at just the right time. After all the failed meetings over the years, they demanded that this meeting be done differently. So, their new human, Elliot, was taken into Winn and Spooks room to meet. And well, as soon as Elliot sat down on the floor, these two walked right over, said meow, began rubbing up and purring. Then, within minutes, Winnie was in her chosen humans arms and the tears began falling from all the humans involved. The behavior that these two exhibited was unlike any other meeting they had ever had, especially for Winnie. The bond was instant and the choice was clear. But, the story doesn't end here. They were supposed to being joining a feline brother, but the universe was forming other plans. Just a few days before the adoption day, Elliot suffered the unexpected loss of their current beloved furbaby. But they had no desire to delay the adoption. The connection that was made was clearly one that would was already creating a sense of comfort and continued purpose. And so, even though the new journey looks a bit different now, Winnie and Spookster gladly accept the role of helping to put the pieces of Elliot's heart back together. It's always a belief that cats sense things before we ever do. And, in this story, it seems clear that these two knew exactly what they were doing before any of us did.🥹❤️‍🩹
After spending most of their lives here, they were a huge part of our family and provided so much love and therapy to all of us. Their departure will surely leave a tremendous void. But, watching them choose their person and experiencing their adoption day turns any sad tears into incredibly grateful and happy tears!🎉😻💕🎁

Wondering who these beauties are? You're looking at another foster fail! Alice and Chessie never made it to the website because their foster mom refused to give them up! At just a few weeks old, these two were found in an abondoned building trying to fend for themselves with no mama in sight. They desperately needed some dedicated love and care to get on a healthy track. One of our ameowzing employees, Michaele, gladly accepted the challenge. Over time, it was obvious that these two were thriving in her home and it became increasingly clear that they were never coming back to Kaleidoscope! And so, mom requested an adoption contract and quickly filled it out to make things official! Now, they get to continue to live the happy life they've already been living, furrever and ever!💕🎉😻🥰

Check out Grace in her new role as queen of the castle! This beautiful gal has taken her throne on top of her cat tree to observe her royal subjects. She loves her toys and blankies, especially since she doesn't have to share them anymore! Mom says she bakes daily biscuits and loves to cuddle with her humans. Her favorite thing? She loves jumping on the couch or in bed whenever mom and dad are watching the Spiderman movies! Who knew that such a queen would be a Tobey Maguire fangirl! 👑🕸️😸💝

At 13 years young, Grayson has been adopted! Mom, Eleanor, was determined to adopt this handsome guy after reading his heartbreaking story. You see, Grayson was almost the victim of euthanasia, simply because he was no longer wanted by his long time family. But, there was no way this healthy guy was was going anywhere but with a future adopter! His new mom knew immediately when she met him that she wanted nothing more than to scoop him up and give him the best golden years he could ever dream of! Grayson bonded with her right away, knowing he found the furrever that he deserved. There was no question that they were meant to be. And now, his broken heart is just a distant memory as he begins his new journey as the man of the house with his new mom! 👑❤️‍🩹😻🎉
