Networking for Good Brings Staten Island Rotarians Together

The Rotary Clubs of Staten Island recently came together for **Networking for Good**, an evening dedicated to fellowship, connection, and community building. Hosted collaboratively by Staten Island’s five Rotary clubs, Gateway Rotary Club of Staten Islanday, Mid-Island Rotary Club, North Shore Rotary of Staten Island, South Shore Rotary of Staten Island, and Rotary Club of Staten, the event provided an opportunity for members to strengthen relationships and celebrate the spirit of Rotary.

More than just a networking event, Networking for Good showcased the power of collaboration among Rotarians who share a common commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. Members exchanged ideas, built new connections, and reinforced the partnerships that help drive meaningful service projects throughout Staten Island and beyond.

The event also served as an important opportunity to introduce prospective members to Rotary. Guests were able to learn firsthand about the fellowship, leadership, and service opportunities that Rotary offers while connecting with Rotarians from across the borough. By sharing stories of impact and demonstrating the strong sense of community that exists within Rotary, the event highlighted what makes membership so rewarding.

As Rotary continues to grow and evolve, events like Networking for Good play a vital role in fostering engagement, strengthening club relationships, and welcoming the next generation of leaders and changemakers. Through fellowship and service, Staten Island’s Rotary clubs continue to demonstrate the enduring value of Service Above Self.

Service Above Self in action! Rotarians from Staten Island’s 5 Rotary Clubs came together at Snug Harbor Cultural Center for our annual EPIC Day of Service — rolling up our sleeves to help beautify and strengthen one of Staten Island’s most treasured spaces.

From mulching pathways and tree rings, planting pollinators and sunflowers, revitalizing insect hotels, and improving the South Meadow and Farm areas, our volunteers continued the important work started two years ago to help create a more welcoming and connected environment for the entire community to enjoy.
