Elmont American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1033 To support the American Legion and honor those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad.

We advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth and promote patriotism.

A Law & Order ceremony was held at the Elmont Post 1033 on March 24, 2025, to honor Police Officer Patricia Espinosa of the 5th Precinct, who tragically lost her life while commuting to work earlier this year, as well as staff from various local schools and Debbie Tirman, President of the Elmont Auxiliary, and its members for their dedication to the veteran and local communities.
