Dutch Broadway School Named a School of Excellence

Dutch Broadway School has been named a 2020-22 School of Excellence by the National PTA. This distinction was given to only nine schools on Long Island and 23 schools statewide.

According to the National PTA, the School of Excellence is a recognition program that supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.

“Dutch Broadway’s PTA has worked hard to bring programs and assemblies to our school,” Principal Cynthia Qasim said. “A special ‘thank you’ goes to Nafisa Sukhnandan, former PTA president and her board; and Savitre Ferdinand and her board, for bringing activities that help to enrich the curriculum and provide positive experiences for our students. Thank you to all of the parents who have volunteered their time and to the families for their continued support for the Dutch Broadway PTA.”
