Crosstown Harmony Chorus A regional champion chorus of SingUnited International. Our motto is "Sharing the Joy of Singing!"

Crosstown Harmony is an award-winning chorus of Sweet Adelines International. We sing in the barbershop style - though you may find us different from the barbershop singers of old. This wonderful chorus attracts members from as far away as 60 miles from Milwaukee. Our shoe collection has ended!
We collected 2,850 pairs of shoes, boots, slippers, flippers, etc. resulting in 114 bags picked up this morning.
Our grateful thanks go to all chorus members who brought in shoes, members who helped with sorting, banding and bagging, and the countless people who donated shoes for our cause.
Special THANK YOU to Jeannette Schupp, who chaired this entire project, and stored everything in her garage all summer.

Members of Crosstown Harmony Chorus have had a busy summer!
After winning two medals at Region 3 Competition, we sang the National Anthem for the Lakeshore Chinooks. Then came the Ozaukee County Fair where members slung suds (beer) at the Main Gate and the Beir Garten. Then we launched our summer fundraiser, partnering with Fund2Orgs to collect 2500 pairs of shoes for those in need overseas. We've already collected and packed up 2600 pairs, and are shooting for 400 more!
We've also been planning a Birthday Party for Crosstown Harmony celebrating our 75th year, along with the USA, celebrating 250 years!

SingUnited/Sweet Adelines International has lost a legend.
Jarmela Speta, Director of the Racine Chorus/Opus 2000, Coach, Arranger, and Mentor, passed away yesterday, August 10th, 2026.
Racine Chorus, directed by Jarmela, was the very first chorus to win a blue ribbon at the very first International Chorus Competition in 1973.
Our condolences go out to Jarmela’s family. Details regarding a memorial to follow.

Our shoe collection has been extended!
Clean out your closets and donate your old shoes to our fundraiser. We can take wearable shoes, boots, slippers, heels, even skates, cleats, rollerblades, even flippers!! Just DM and we’ll pick up in the Milwaukee area.

IT'S FAIR TIME!
Of course we mean the Ozaukee County Fair! where members of Crosstown Harmony will be pitching beer and having great fun!
Admission to the OZ Fair is FREE, so come on by on the following dates:
Thursday, July 30th at the BierGarten from 4-8pm
Friday, July 31st at the Main Gate Beer Kiosk from 2-6pm
Friday, July 31st at the BierGarten from 4-8pm
Saturday, Aug 1st at the Main Gate Beer Kiosk from noon-6pm
Sunday, Aug 2nd at the Center Stage from 11:30am-3pm
This is a fundraiser for Crosstown Harmony Chorus, so come on by, buy some beer or other beverages, and tip generously!
