Signs are posted at all border crossings authorizing use of the County Roads and No ATV Traffic signs are installed where there is not a direct crossing of the State Highway.
An updated map showing all County Roads are open will be posted on the Highway Department Website.

It was great to join the Pepin County ATV/UTV Club recently alongside Representative Treig Pronschinske for one of the group's meetings in Durand. I was happy to bring the news that the bill I coauthored to make several changes to state law governing ATVs and UTVs, Senate Bill 331, had been signed into law by Governor Evers. Some of the reforms under the bill include:

- Elimination of the statewide ban on crossing bridges longer than 1,000 feet. As I shared in a post recently, that will really help the riders in Pepin County as well as the City of Durand because riders have not been able to cross the Durand bridge, which measures about 1,300 feet.
- Allows municipalities to use ATVs and UTVs as authorized emergency vehicles and patrol vehicles
- Requires all models manufactured after 2016 to be equipped with brake lights
