A couple of weeks ago, Mrs. Keslan’s classes worked on a unique project that reminded them how their individual stories shape who they are and how they impact the people around them!

Students spent days creating family trees, webs of personal beliefs and connections, and sharing their favorite memories, foods, drinks, and seasons. Then, their work was cut into puzzle pieces and mixed together, allowing students to rearrange pieces of one another’s stories and create new, interconnected mosaics.

What a meaningful way to explore how our experiences, backgrounds, beliefs, and relationships shape the way we see the world! We each carry our own story, but our lives are continually being shaped by the people God places around us.

The question is, how are we impacting those around us? Are we treating others with grace, love, and understanding, or are we seeing everything only through the lens of our own experiences?

With Jesus, we can learn to look beyond ourselves, appreciate the stories of others, and carry our own stories with gratitude and wisdom. Every person has a story worth knowing, and every interaction is an opportunity to reflect the love of Christ!

We started a new quarter at Middle School CLC this week!

We’re excited to welcome some new faces and happy to have some familiar ones returning! While we look forward to all that this quarter holds, we’ll sure miss the students who were with us last quarter and won’t be returning. They’ve each left a little piece of themselves with us, and we’re thankful we got to be part of their lives, even for a little while. ❤️

We’re praying for all our students, whether they’re returning to CLC or moving on to something new. We love getting to share Jesus with them, and we never take that opportunity for granted!

Here’s to a new quarter of learning, growing, and loving on our students!

A special thank you to Pam Callihan’s Sunday School Class at East Ellijay Baptist Church for providing snacks for their Adopt a CLC Class! We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity. Our students have been enjoying the snacks, and it means so much to know that they are being thought of, prayed for, and loved on by people in our community.

The Adopt a CLC Class program is a wonderful way for churches and individuals to connect with our students through prayer, encouragement, and simple acts of kindness. These thoughtful gestures remind our students that they are valued and cared for.

Thank you for being a blessing to our students and for helping us share the love of Jesus in such a practical way! We appreciate you more than you know!

Meet Myles, a 9th grader who has taken CLC an incredible four times! Myles loves CLC because he genuinely wants to learn more about the Lord and grow in his understanding of the Bible and his faith.
One of Myles’ favorite Bible stories is the story of Jonah and the great fish. He enjoys the story of Jonah being swallowed by the whale and the incredible way God used Jonah’s experience to teach him about obedience, faith, and trusting God.
When Myles isn’t in CLC, you can often find him out on the golf course. He loves playing golf and enjoys spending time working on his game and having fun outdoors.
We love having Myles in CLC because he brings a genuine desire to learn and grow. His willingness to keep coming back to CLC shows how much he values the opportunity to learn about God and His Word.

We’re so thankful for our friends at Steward and Son Property Maintenance Company, who will be helping us freshen up both CLC campuses with monthly landscaping!

They are generously donating their landscaping services to CLC, and we are incredibly grateful for their generosity, kindness, and willingness to invest in the work God is doing through this ministry.
