Many in our community are not able to donate volunteer hours but want to help so here is how you, your church, your organization can help: we need money. These funds will be used to purchase items and foods as needed. We have limited storage so we appreciate the offer of donations but are unable to store. Watch for updates when we MIGHT need items, but right now, we could use funding for this all-volunteer organization.

You can make checks out to NEW BEGINNINGS with Warming Center in the notation. Checks can be mailed to NEW BEGINNINGS at P.O. Box 2402, Ellijay 30540 or you can drop off checks to Faith Hope and Charity by asking for an Manager on Duty.

Gilmer Warming Center Volunteers Needed!!

Did you know our community offers a safe place for those in need of warmth during freezing temperatures? It can't be done without open hearts and willing hands to serve. If you, your church, business or community organization would be interested in learning more, please plan to attend ONE of these two volunteer training sessions at the Gilmer County Civic Center 1561 South Main Street. Meeting will take place in the classroom. Enter through the side door across from the pickleball courts.
