At our next meeting, Thursday 11/5, 6 - 7:30 pm at Oscar's Alehouse, Tricia Sakles, Executive Director of Building Families for Children (BFC), will talk with us on BFC's mission to “help Maryland's most vulnerable children and their families thrive by providing trauma-focused supportive services with Christ-like love and compassion.”

BFC is a faith-based nonprofit that believes that every child deserves to grow up in a safe, nurturing family - and has provided services for over 100 years to make that a reality for many children in Maryland!

What a weekend! and members from across Rotary District 7620 came together at the 79𝒕𝒉 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒓𝒂𝒃 𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕. A Maryland tradition overflowing with fellowship, Old Bay, and community spirit.

A huge thank you to the Ellicott City Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Columbia/Patuxent, Columbia Town Center Rotary Club, Sunrise Rotary Club of Ellicott City, Rotary Club of Howard West, and the Howard Community College Rotaract Club, for powering this event with service, smiles, and a whole lot of crab cracking 🦀

Together, they raised funds that support local food banks, youth programs, and community outreach across Howard County. This is what 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 like! 💛

Visitors are very welcome to join our Club Meetings, the first and third Thursdays for the month at Oscar's Alehouse in Woodstock, 6 to 7:30 pm.

In our October 15th meeting, Denise Giuliano from NAMI Howard County will be our guest speaker. NAMI serves residents across Howard County with free mental health support, online groups, resources, and education.

We'll also pack lunches for Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center.
