Please help this rescuer if you can.
Please Help Us Save Flash—We’re Desperate My heart is heavy as I write this, but I’m reaching out and begging for your help—not for myself, but for a precious life that hangs in the balance.
I run a sanctuary for disabled and sick cats—those who’ve been abandoned, overlooked, or left behind. I work two jobs tirelessly because I believe with all my heart that these innocent souls deserve love, safety, and a fighting chance. Normally, I manage it all on my own—food, vet bills, supplies, medications—because I don’t believe in cutting corners when it comes to giving them a life worth living.
But the past month and a half has pushed us to the edge. My medically fragile son has been facing serious health struggles, and I’ve also been dealing with frightening health issues of my own. We’ve been holding on, but now… we’re facing a critical emergency. Flash , our sweet six-year-old boy—young, healthy, and full of life—developed a urinary blockage. We rushed him to Howard County Animal Hospital yesterday , and we were able to pay for the initial visit and procedure to unblock him. But they sent him home, and today he’s showing troubling signs that he may be blocked again .
Right now, we’re on the way to the Veterinary Emergency Group —because time is not on our side. If this is a re-blockage, it could take his life. Flash is such a fighter, and he deserves a chance. We’re not ready to say goodbye—not like this.
We are pleading— begging —for help from anyone with a tender heart who believes that every life matters. Ways to Help Flash: • Cash App : $CrazyCatMama1984
• Venmo : -Grosvalet
• Directly to the vet : Call the Veterinary Emergency Group at 410-793-4910 and ask to donate to Flash’s account under Melissa Bratcher for Flash as it is my friend who is managing this, and the account will be under her. She lives with me, and she is my partner in running the sanctuary. She takes our animals to the vet so that I can remain home with my son who needs 24 seven supervision and care. Please, even if all you can do is share this, it could save his life. Every minute matters. Every dollar is a step toward giving Flash another chance to curl up in the sun, purr on a warm lap, and know that he is deeply loved.
From the bottom of my heart— thank you.
