📚 A stronger future begins with a single opportunity.

When Emily started kindergarten, books weren't something she had at home. Through programs like Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she began receiving books every month. Today, reading is one of her favorite activities, and she's entering school ready to learn and succeed.

The early years matter. Children who have access to learning opportunities and literacy support are more likely to thrive in school and beyond.

Your support helps connect local children with educational opportunities that build confidence, curiosity, and a brighter future.

Together, small investments in our youngest neighbors add up to lasting change.

💙 Make an impact before year-end. Give today at crossroadsuw.org/donate and help create more success stories.

Earlier this week, we invited you to experience the tough choices many ALICE households face every day.

Behind those choices are real people. Real families. Real stories.

💙 Meet Alexis.

While raising two young sons and working as a dialysis technician, Alexis was determined to create a more stable future for her family. Through the support of Habitat for Humanity Elkhart County, she became a homeowner, a paramedic, and a 2025 Rookie of the Year.

Her story is a reminder that financial stability isn't just about making ends meet. It's about having the foundation to build what's next.

Your support of Crossroads United Way helps create opportunities that empower local families to thrive.

Because it could be your neighbor. It could be someone you know.

And together, we can help write more stories like Alexis's.

Take a few minutes to step into the shoes of an ALICE® household and experience the difficult choices many hardworking Hoosiers face every day.

The decisions are real. The challenges are real. And many of our neighbors are living them right now.

Experience it. Understand it. Start the conversation.
