We’re proud to announce Miranda Varo as our other spotlight artist for Q***r Spectra!

Miranda was born and raised in Mexicali but exhibits art all over the country. Q***r Spectra is a binational showcase. In this video, Miranda talks about the juxtaposition of being a q***r artist while living in a border community, and the importance of breaking down binaries through their work. We’re very excited to showcase her work next Friday.

This is q***rcasa’s first Pride celebration and we can’t wait to welcome you to a night of culture, community and celebration!

Free. Friday July 31 at Prestige Event Center in Heber. Doors open at 7:30.
