We regret to inform you that our esteemed event coordinator and president of the board has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment, which is expected to continue until September. During this challenging time, our primary focus is on supporting her health and well-being.

In light of her health circumstances, we have made the decision to postpone our upcoming event originally scheduled for October 17th, 2025, to a new date of October 16th, 2026. This extension will provide her with the necessary time to focus on her treatment without the added stress of organizing or attending the event.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience as we prioritize her health and ensure she receives the support she needs during this difficult period. To our followers, partners, sponsors, and supporters your continued support and understanding mean a great deal to us and to her.

Thank you for your compassion and ongoing support as we navigate this situation together.

Dancing for a Dream Foundation was created to help families dealing with a medical need.

We are incredibly thankful that Kennedy Middle School graciously accepted our invitation! Their performance was truly outstanding and left a lasting impression. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the students who participated; your enthusiasm and talent shone brightly. The Dancing for a Dream Charity event was elevated to new heights thanks to your exceptional contributions. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the judges who participated in this year's Dancing for a Dream 2024 event. Your involvement is invaluable, and we truly appreciate the time and effort you dedicated to making this event a success.

A special thank you goes to KYMA for generously donating their judges seat to be auctioned , which helped us raise over $5,000 solely from the judges' auction seats. We are also extremely grateful to Dr. Mani and Trusted Care Home Care for stepping up as our Auction Judges; your contributions will enable us to provide gas cards to our present and past participants in their time of need.

The judges had the important task of scoring our Stars based on the Dance matrix. The possible points a Star couple could collect is 434 points. As in previous years, the event was a resounding success, selling out once again and creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and community spirit.

It's important to clarify that this event is not a traditional dance competition. Instead, it serves as a wonderful opportunity for community engagement, featuring a delightful dinner, lively dancing, and an outstanding show presented by our Dream Team, all aimed at raising funds for children with medical need from our community. To give you an understanding of the scoring process, we have provided a score sheet that outlines how dancers are evaluated against a dance matrix for a first place award.
