The UFCW Local 152 Mobile Health Van recently visited the workers at United Methodist Communities at Bristol Glen! 🚐 The "van" was moved indoors to accommodate the workers, where they were screened for blood pressure, BMI, lipid profiles, blood sugar, and facial skin cancer.

The Health Van has finished its rounds for the 2026 season. You can expect it back in early 2027! See you all next year! πŸ‘‹

🚨 ππ‘π„π€πŠπˆππ†: UFCW Local 152 served the administration at Pelican Pointe Rehabilitation official STRIKE NOTICE, in compliance with the National Labor Relations Act. This comes in response to the Employer's bad-faith bargaining.

"Our members have made it very clear that they are ready to stand up and fight for the contract they deserve," said President Ross. "This employer should not take our members’ hard work and labor for granted any longer."

If the owners of Pelican Pointe Rehab do not propose a meaningful agreement within the next 10 days, these healthcare workers are prepared to withhold their labor starting Sunday, October 18. πŸ”₯
