Much appreciation to the helping Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation for inviting us out to the Ben To The Shore Charity Bike Tour. Our job was to support the event by making sure the bikers stayed hydrated, assisting with trash disposal, and moving tables and chairs as needed. Thanks again to the Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation for giving us this opportunity. We look forward to working with you again in the future!

Summer Recap:

On 06/21/26, our cadets arrived at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst for CLC. CLC (Cadet Leadership Course) is a leadership course that selected cadets participate in for one week. While at CLC, our cadets learn what it takes to be a great leader and developed important team-building skills that can be applied to our daily lives as cadets in the JROTC. The course was rigorous, but our cadets enjoyed the experience nonetheless.

Following CLC, on 07/07/2026, our cadet staff held our annual Junior Cadet Camp (2 weeks in length). Our goal was to give middle school students a little taste of JROTC using the leadership skills we learn while in the program. We taught them drill and some knots, showed them rope bridge, and had them make rockets. The kids had a great time, and our cadet staff gained valuable experience in leadership once again.
