If you wake up one morning and find a yard FULL of flamingos… 👀🦩🦩🦩
CONGRATULATIONS. 😂 You’ve officially been FLOCKED FOR THE CLIMB! Let’s help all the mamas get their pink back!💗

We’re starting a little flocking fun to help raise money for Climb Team Effingham 2026, and these flamingos are going to be traveling all over our community! 🦩🌸

Here’s how it works:
🦩 If you get flocked, you’ll find a sign in your yard letting you know you’ve been chosen, along with a little note in your mailbox explaining how to send the flock on its next adventure.
📸 If you get flocked — TAKE A PICTURE!�Tag our page so we can see where the flock landed and share in the fun!
🎯 Have someone you think deserves to be flocked?�Send us their name/address and let us know! Maybe it’s your best friend, your neighbor, your coworker, your boss… 😏 Or maybe there’s someone who has been an amazing supporter of moms and families in our community!

💰 The goal is to have a little FUN while raising money and awareness for The Climb and Postpartum Support International.

And a whole lot of caring adults who believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved and supported. ❤️

While a parent is navigating a difficult situation, their child gets to simply be a kid.

That’s the heart of Crisis Nursery.

A safe place for children. A helping hand for parents. A stronger community for everyone.

💙 Why Jill Climbs

“I needed someone to help me. I needed someone to tell me I wasn’t crazy.”

Jill’s why is a story of what postpartum depression can look like when you don’t yet have the words, resources, or support to understand what is happening.

In 2005, Jill became a mom for the second time. She expected to have a baby and simply continue on with life. Instead, she found herself overwhelmed by anxiety, fear, panic, and a depression she couldn’t explain.

She didn’t feel the joy she thought she was supposed to feel. She felt incapable. She cried. She shook. Her mind raced. She felt hopeless and began believing that her family would be better off without her.

And perhaps most importantly—she didn’t know this was postpartum depression.

When Jill finally saw someone talking openly about postpartum depression, she realized she wasn’t alone. That moment became a turning point. She sought therapy, eventually accepted medication, found a moms group, and slowly began to heal.

It took a year before she felt like herself again.

Today, Jill is incredibly grateful that there are more resources, more information, and more conversations surrounding postpartum mental health. But her story is also a reminder of why we still have work to do.

Because no mother should have to wonder if she is “crazy.”
No mother should believe she has to do it alone.
No mother should feel ashamed to ask for help.
And no mother should have to suffer in silence simply because she doesn’t recognize what’s happening to her.

We climb for the mothers who are struggling right now.
We climb for the mothers who struggled before there were resources.
We climb so future mothers have more support, more understanding, and more hope.
